A BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO KEY CLUB EVENTS

When you join Key Club, all the different acronyms and titles may sound confusing. However, it is all quite simple! Read this simple guide to find out what fun events Key Cub has to offer.

SERVICE EVENTS:  Opportunities to get service hours! Examples of service events include blanket making, dog toy making, gardening, and, most commonly, setting up chairs/tables + running raffles + cleaning up at museums, parks, and local food drives. Visit the When you arrive to any event, make sure to check in with an Etiwanda officer, so they know you are in attendance.

SOCIAL EVENTS:  Opportunities to bond with other Key Clubbers! Typical social events include DCM's, fundraisers, backyard sessions, pre-fall rally's, and night markets. When you arrive to any event, make sure to check in with an Etiwanda officer, so they know you are in attendance.

PRE FALL RALLY: A social event, typically involving the full division, where spirit coordinators teach the chants we need to know for Fall Rally.

DCM "Division Council Meeting:"  A monthly gathering for Key Clubbers in one division, where members attend a meeting led by your LTG to discuss club updates, division news, and to distribute monthly awards. The meeting is then followed by a fun and exciting social event; for example, roller skating, karaoke, color wars, etc!

Our Division, Division 15 North is comprised of 10 high school clubs: Alta Loma, Chaffey, Claremont, Etiwanda, Los Osos, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, San Antonio, and Upland. During Division Council Meetings, you get to learn about what those other clubs are up to, and you get to mingle with Key Clubbers from those high schools!

FALL RALLY SOUTH:  An event held at Six Flags for one day every November. The road to fall rally is an experience like none other, as you must be a dues paid member, learn your division's chants by attending at least 2 pre fall rally's, DCM's, and complete a certain number of service hours.

At Fall Rally, thousands of Key Clubbers gather at Six Flags Magic Mountain Theme Park! At Fall Rally, you get to meet thousands of Key Clubbers, compete in a spirit battle, and have fun with your friends! A portion of ticket sales will go towards the Pediatric Trauma Program.

DCON "District Convention:" An annual weekend-long convention for all Key Club members in all of California, Nevada, and Hawaii. At DCON, Key Clubbers celebrate the achievements of the past year, elect the new district executives, watch the retirement of current officers, and marks the date when newly elected club officers and LTGs are officially installed. At DCON, you will also be able to attend workshops, and meet new people from all over our Cali-Nev-Ha District! This year, DCON will be held at Ontario Convention Center, so you don't want to miss it!

As we begin a term comprising of fully in person operations, when the 2022-23 school year begins, we will no longer offering online and at home service events.
